A client of ours Joe, had his first solar system installed in 2O2O. We installed 30 x Jinko Cheetah 33OW panels paired with the premium iQ7A Enphase Microinverters, which gave him 9.9kW of safe clean power.
In 2O23, Joe reached out again asking for an expansion to his solar system due to some lifestyle changes. As Joe made the very smart decision to invest in the Enphase Microinverter system, adding additional panels was an easy adjustment to make.
Our team expanded his system by installing an additional
27 x 475W panels to the back extension part of his home
adding an extra 12.825kW of power, giving him an
impressive 22.762kW of power production! Joe’s bills
have reduced more than 90% – nicely done Joe!
Another one of our clients Christian, came to us a few years ago seeking a solution for his increasing energy bills. After an analysis of his daily usage, we installed an 11.1kW Enphase Microinverter System, and because Christians power consumption occurred predominantly at night we also added 1 x 5kW Enphase battery to the design.
Several years later after the purchase of his electric vehicle, we installed a Legrand EV charger to power up his brand new Tesla. Christians home is now fully powered by the sun and all excess power goes straight into charging his car.
At the time of producing this case study Christian had only had his car for a period of 6 months. During that time he had driven over 7,OOOkms and spent a very impressive zero dollars on powering his car.
Before Christian had his EV charger installed in 2O22, he exported 6.8kwh to the grid. Now in 2O23, he has only exported 1.7kwh. Without an EV charger to power his vehicle directly from his own solar system, Christian would have spent over $85O on energy (fuel) for his car per month! Nice work Christian!
